Hi Christina, Our trip to Italy was amazing!!! Everything about the trip exceeded our expectations. We will definitely recommend Road to Italy’s First Class Private Tours to our friends. It was nice to have everything planned out, to arrive in each city with someone waiting there to take us to our hotel, and then wake up each day with our guide waiting in the lobby ready to take us to see the sights. All of our guides and drivers were friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the art and history of each city. They also knew how to maneuver their way through the museums, so that we didn’t have to wait in lines, and instead spent our time enjoying the highlights of each place. It was perfect! We were also very happy with our choices of hotels and would highly recommend them. In Rome, we stayed at the Sofitel, which is gorgeous and in a nice part of town. The bar upstairs has good food and a beautiful view of the city. In Florence, we stayed at the Hotel Degli Orafi, which is perfectly located in the heart of the city. We paid a little extra to get a room with a view and got the “Room with a View” (where the movie was filmed). Our room had a private terrace overlooking the Arno River and Ponte Vecchi… it was incredible!! Well worth the extra money. Lastly, we stayed at the Hotel Saturnia & International in Venice, which is nicely located near St. Marco’s square and the Doges palace. Their outside courtyard restaurant, La Caravella, has a lovely atmosphere and the food was really good! We couldn’t have asked for more…everything about our trip was wonderful! An A+!!!!
