DAY 1 — Arrival to Florence
Arrive at Florence airport where our local English speaking driver will meet you and transfer you to your elegant accommodations in Florence. Balance of day at leisure.
DAY 2 — Classical Florence Tour
Today enjoy a private tour of Florence highlighting the main sites of the Renaissance past. The tour includes visits to the Duomo and the Baptistery, the Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, and the famous Accademia Gallery. Balance of day at your leisure.
DAY 3 — Florence
A free day to enjoy some shopping or sightseeing on your own. This evening you will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to La Loggia restaurant in the Piazzale Michelangelo. Here in this panoramic setting overlooking all of Florence you will enjoy a gourmet dinner. After dinner you will be transferred back to your hotel.
DAY 4 — Florence - Chianti
After breakfast, you will depart with your private driver to your next hotel in the Tuscany countryside: Castello del Nero. Enjoy a day at the spa in this beautiful resort. Balance of day at your leisure.
DAY 5 — Chianti Excursion with Romantic Lunch
Your driver will meet you after breakfast for your day in the Chianti. You will visit an area which is one of the oldest wine regions in the world. You will see medieval castles and ancient towns dotting the picture perfect landscape. You will visit the prestigious Capannelle Winery. Here in its cellars are stored over 8000 bottles of Vintage wines for many exclusive clients. A wine tasting will be included. After your visit of the winery you will continue to the Castello di Spaltenna for a Tuscan lunch in its award winning restaurant. You will return to your accommodations after the tour.
DAY 6 — Medieval Siena and San Gimignano
Your Tuscan holiday continues with a full day excursion to the medieval cities of Siena and San Gimignano. Siena a UNESCO world heritage site is the embodiment of a medieval city. San Gimignano once a powerful and rich town is known as the town of towers. It once had 72 towers built by rich families to show their wealth. 13 of those towers remain today. This hill top town is a medieval gem.
DAY 7 — Arrivederci Tuscany
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. You will be transferred today to the Florence airport or rail station for your onward travel.
