DAY 1 — Arrival in Rome
Upon arrival Rome airport meet our local rep for tour transfer to your hotel in Rome city center. In the late afternoon meet your driver for a panoramic tour of Rome and a romantic welcome dinner on a terrace overlooking town. After dinner return to your hotel.
DAY 2 — Ancient Rome Tour
Today you will meet your small group tour of at the designated meeting point near the Colosseum. Together with your group you will be guided to on a walking tour to the Colosseum and to the Roman Forum to explore the wonders of Ancient Rome. After the tour the rest of the day will be at leisure.
DAY 3 — Rome
A free day to enjoy on your own. You may want to add an optional Vatican tour.
DAY 4 — Rome to Florence
Meet our local rep for your transfer to the rail station to catch your train to Florence. First class tickets on the high speed train are included. Upon your arrival in Florence continue to your centrally located hotel. Rest of the day is free.
DAY 5 — Florence Walking Tour
After breakfast meet your group for your guided walking tour of the city. You will see the highlights of Florence including the Duomo, Baptistery, Palazzo Vecchio, the bell tower by Giotto the famous Ponte Vecchio and the secret Vasari Corridor. The afternoon is free for shopping and sightseeing on your own.
DAY 6 — Chianti Wine Trail
Meet your driver/escort, today you will enjoy a full day of sightseeing through the Tuscany countryside. You will tour the beautiful Chianti wine region with its charming towns and great vineyards. Visit a wine cellar and taste some of the vintages. Continue to your accommodations in the afternoon.
DAY 7 — Siena & Tuscan dinner
The morning is to free to relax and enjoy the facilities of your resort. In the afternoon meet your driver/escort, for the visit of the medieval town of Siena. Guided walking tour of the historical city center. After the visit continue to the countryside for a taste of the local specialties in a typical Tuscan restaurant. Continue to your accommodations after dinner.
DAY 8 — Tuscany / Castelli Romani
Morning meet your driver for your transfer to a beautiful villa in the “Castelli Romani” in the beautiful hills near Rome. Visit of top hill village of Castel Gandolfo the summer residence of the Pope. Enjoy your dinner in the romantic restaurant of the hotel overlooking the Eternal City of Rome.
DAY 9 — Departure
Today is the end of the tour. You will make your way to your next destination. You may want to add more days or an optional transfer to the rail station or airport.
